Fishing Report

September 19, 2008

The Smallmouth are still doing very well and should continue until the weather starts to cool down. This is the time of year when you can really hunt for the bigger Bass as they need to fatten up for their winter hybernation.
The Salmon are slowly starting to show up as well. We,ve been seeing quite a few Chinook along with some Coho (Silver) Salmon and the occasional Steelhead the last few weeks. As soon as the river begins to cool we will begin to target the Salmon in this section. We need cooler nights and some rains for this to happen. There is some decent fishing in the Bay right now.
